Patented technology powering SipShield's advanced fraud detection system. Our innovative approach uses machine learning and artificial neural networks to protect VoIP infrastructure from fraudulent calls in real-time.
The use of artificial intelligence or machine learning to detect fraud, spam, or malicious activity in live voice calls, text messages, or multimedia communications in real-time is protected under U.S. Patent #12,432,294.
This includes any system that captures communication data, extracts features, processes them through neural networks or ML models, and generates real-time fraud verdicts or spam classifications. Whether analyzing call metadata, voice patterns, message content, or behavioral signals—if your system uses AI/ML to make real-time determinations about fraudulent or spam communications, it may fall under our patent claims.
This protection extends to voice calls (VoIP, SIP, PSTN), SMS/MMS messaging, and any communication platform utilizing predictive analytics, feature vector processing, or artificial neural networks for fraud/spam detection during live sessions.

A system for automated real-time fraud detection based on predictive analytics of call data. The system includes a processor of a call analysis server (CAS) node configured to host a machine learning (ML) module connected to user-entity nodes over a network. The system integrates AI, machine learning, and blockchain technology for secure and transparent fraud detection.
The processor captures user call data including key elements such as call duration, originating and terminating numbers, call routing data, caller behavior patterns, and geolocation data. It parses this data to extract classifying features, queries local and remote databases for historical calls-related data, and generates feature vectors for ML analysis.
When fraudulent activity is detected, the system automatically sends alerts to the Network Operations Center (NOC) and can shut down routes carrying fraudulent traffic based on media IPs. All fraud verdicts are recorded on a permissioned blockchain ledger for transparency and audit trails.
The following methods and systems are protected under U.S. Patent #12,432,294. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or implementation of these technologies may constitute patent infringement.
Notice: This patent encompasses 20 claims covering systems, methods, and computer-readable media for AI-based real-time fraud detection. Third parties implementing similar technologies should consult legal counsel.
A call analysis server (CAS) node with a processor configured to host a machine learning (ML) module connected to user-entity nodes over a network.
Capturing user call data comprising a plurality of key elements from at least one user-entity node, including call metadata, caller behavior, and geolocation data.
Parsing user call data to extract a plurality of classifying features based on key elements such as duration, originating/terminating numbers, and routing data.
Querying local and remote calls databases to retrieve historical calls-related data based on classifying features from facilities of the same type.
Generating n-dimensional feature vectors based on classifying features combined with local and remote historical calls-related data.
Providing feature vectors to an ML module coupled with an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with input, output, and hidden layers for fraud pattern analysis.
Receiving user call ranking parameters from a call predictive model generated by the ML module using outputs of the ANN based on feature vectors.
Generating real-time fraud verdicts for user calls based on the plurality of call ranking parameters produced by the predictive model.
Continuously monitoring incoming call data to detect when parameter values deviate from previous values by a margin exceeding pre-set threshold values.
Recording call ranking parameters and fraud verdicts on a permissioned blockchain ledger along with feature vectors for transparency and immutability.
Sending automated alerts to Network Operations Center (NOC) and shutting down routes carrying fraudulent traffic based on media IPs.
Extracting language identifiers from call data and extracting classifying features based on the language identifier for multi-language support.
